Product Review and Giveaway! Prefense Hand Sanitizer

Anyone who knows my hubby (Gary)  knows that he is a germ-a-phob!  I am trying to figure out how so, when you have 7 kids and 3 are boys! (M.O.B’s you know what I mean when I say that)

When my kids come in the house they know they have to go straight to the bathroom and use antibacterial soap when they wash their hands.  And when we leave church or a gathering as soon as we get in the car we have to pass the hand sanitizer around.

We keep hand sanitizer in our car and I always worry about that stuff.  I don’t know if you all heard about the little kids getting in alcohol based sanitizers and getting sick!  That’s a fear of mine. I have a 2 year old who still hasn’t found her boundaries and does a number of things we would prefer her not too.  With our luck drinking hand sanitizer would be one of those things! SMH

So when I got the opportunity to try out a “new to me” hand sanitizer I was estatic! I have been using this product for about 1 weeks now and I know exactly what I love about it and I have somethings I’m just not sure about. (Only because I don’t have a lab to confirm some stuff)LOL

I love that the product is water based

1 squirt

It doesn’t have a strong odor of alcohol or anything else for that matter. I don’t like when I am about to eat something and I smell or taste hand sanitizer.

I never really felt the strong alcohol smell/taste was safe for kids in other hand sanitizers. When you put prefense on it is not as slimy as applying the hand sanitizer gel form. It goes on fast and dries even faster.

dries quick and your hand feels soft

I noticed my hands were softer after using pre-fense which it states on the brochure, that it smooths, softens and protects.

Per the brochure that comes with the bottle ~you can wash your hands up to 10 times and still have protection off 1 application. It’s been tested against strains of Staphylococcus aureus and drug resistant MRSA (I have had MRSA the medical bill alone to treat it can almost kill you)

My Hubby felt confidant enough with it that I was allowed to take the kids to an indoor playset!  That proves right there how well it worked for us :)

I know there is germs in there too

I am even more excited that I get to give away a FREE 8 ounce bottle to one of you!  All you have to do is…

  1. I love prefense foam hand sanitizer! :)

  2. This sounds like a great product. We now use a lot of hand sanitizer on the grand-kids since they are older, I was worried about the alcohol base on them as well. No telling what kind of frogs and creepy things they touch and would try to eat. My grand-son caught a frog and brought it in when he had to come in and it, he didn’t want to turn it loose so he stuck it in the washing machine. Needless to say he forgot out about it and I never knew about it until I opened the washing machine the next day to do laundry and a green icky slimy tree frog jumped out at me. I HAD TO CATCH IT TO PUT IT OUTSIDE! UGGGG. I could have used this sanitizer then. Kids! Gotta love them germy or not :) .
